Description
The environmental object 'Lynx' is located in the traffic roundabout at the intersection of Brīvības and Dolomīta Streets, on the P76 road before entering Jēkabpils.
Its metal silhouette is filled with dolomite gravel, symbolizing Dolomīta Street and the former dolomite quarry, which is now the Radžu Reservoir. Approximately 10 tons of dolomite were used to fill the lynx silhouette.
The idea was conceived by Valtis Barkāns. The object was installed in 2022. You can approach the 'Lynx' via a specially created path.
The object is located in a high-traffic area. Be careful!
