The association in Dunava Parish is characterized by creativity, community spirit, and purposeful activity. This association brings together the most active and enterprising women of Dunava Parish, who regularly gather to engage in various handicrafts, share experiences, and keep Latvian cultural heritage alive.

The members of the association are passionate about a wide range of crafts – they weave, knit, macramé, and create various jute crafts, make large decorative flowers, paint silk scarves, and continuously learn new crafting techniques. This creative environment not only provides an opportunity to develop skills and create beautiful things but also strengthens social bonds, fosters collaboration, and inspires others.

“Dzīves prasme” is a place where women find strength, inspiration, and the opportunity to express themselves through creative activity. The association also participates in local events, exhibitions, and organizes workshops, thus promoting the preservation of cultural and craft traditions in Dunava Parish and beyond.
