RN PADEL CLUB is an initiative by Reinis Nitišs – a motorsport athlete with international experience – created to contribute to the development of his hometown, Jēkabpils.

The club offers modern padel tennis courts and a relaxation area where sports enthusiasts, families, and friends can meet, enjoy active leisure, and feel a sense of community. The club was established with the goal of promoting padel tennis in Latvia and creating an environment where people come together, share energy, and grow both physically and socially.

Padel is a racket sport that can be described as a mix between tennis and squash. It is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, easy to learn and fun to play. It’s a great activity for both beginners and experienced players – a perfect way to spend time with friends or family and meet new people.

Padel is played on a 10×20 meter court with a net in the middle, similar to tennis, but on a smaller field. Like squash, the court is surrounded by 2.5-meter-high walls, with an additional 1-meter wire mesh above. Padel is played in doubles format (two players vs. two players).
