The tourist routes “Weekend in Village” combine the tourism offer of Aizkraukle, Jēkabpils and Birži (Lithuania) regions and invite you to visit the vast and amazing Selonia ( Latvian - Sēlija), which attracts with beautiful landscapes, rich cultural and historical heritage and warm-hearted people.
To explore this part of Selonia, thematic routes are available in five themes – “The charm of Selonia nature”, “The flavors of Selonia”, “Family-friendly recreation”, “Cultural heritage of Selonia” and “Creative adventures in Selonia”. The routes are available in Latvian, English and Lithuanian.
