DISCOVER GĀRSENE - AUDIO GUIDE ROUTE
The route is created around Gārsene Castle and on nature trails. It includes 20 viewing points and objects, where, by scanning the QR code, you can learn more about the history of Gārsene Manor and the activities of local residents. Take a look at Gārsene Castle and learn more about its architecture, maybe you will notice the kind ghost of the castle – the Blue Lady! Sit in the Baron's chair and visit the Isle of Love. Maybe you want a selfie by the large boulder “Lutauši”?
The route is digitally available in the mobile app izi.Travel in Latvian, English, Lithuanian and German. A printed route map can be obtained at the Gārsene Castle information point or the Jēkabpils County Tourism Information Centre. The route is friendly for both pedestrians and cyclists. It is approximately 4.5 km long and it takes at least two hours to complete.
