CYCLING ROUTE - SELPILS AREA
The 22 km long scenic route along the Selonia hills is created on one of the bends of the Daugava River and travels along rural roads with low traffic intensity, showing cyclists the steep banks of the Daugava River or taking them to a castle mound and allowing them to look out onto the surrounding landscape.
CYCLING ROUTE - AROUND SAUKA LAKE
The route winds around Lake Sauka, where from the ridges of the Selonia rampart hills, one of the most beautiful views of Lake Sauka and its immediate surroundings opens up. Exceptionally scenic places, recreational infrastructure (swimming areas, picnic areas, etc.) attract not only fans of active cycling.
CYCLING ROUTE - LAUKEZERS LAKE NATURE PARK
The 15–20 km long cycling route is designed to explore the Laukezers Nature Park, which is a NATURA 2000 protected nature area. The start and end of the route should be planned in Zīlāni, which is located 5 km from Jēkabpils.
CYCLING ROUTE - ATASIENE PARISH
The 20–24 km long cycling route is designed to explore the surroundings of Atasiene, and it can also be reached by train from Riga to Zilupe. More experienced cyclists can plan a connection from Atašiene to Jēkabpils (~39 km) via smaller country roads, bypassing the main highway, or a further tour to Latgale.

CYCLING ROUTE - FIRST TRIP OF RAINIS
The route is suitable for active riders who are interested in the trails of Rainis' childhood and the rustle of the wind in the treetops. The route leads along forest and regional roads through two quiet and sparsely populated villages - Tadenava and Kaldabruņa, which are rich in various cultural, historical and artistic objects. The route length is 28 km.
