The environmental object depicts and provides information about the historical Lone railway station.
One of the stops of the Little Train on the route from Jēkabpils to Nereta was the Lone station. The historical Lone station and the goods warehouse have been preserved.
The Viesīte narrow-gauge railway junction operated from 1916 to 1972.
